About RouterIPGuide
RouterIPGuide is an independent reference site that helps people log into their routers, find the right gateway address and default credentials, and fix common home-network problems — without wading through generic, copy-pasted advice.
What We Do
Most router problems come down to a small set of questions: What's my router's IP address? Why won't the login page load? What's the default password? Why did my connection drop? We write step-by-step guides that answer these directly, organized by IP address, router brand, and the specific problem you're facing.
IP Address Guides
Login steps, default credentials, and troubleshooting for gateway addresses like 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1, 10.0.0.1, and many others →
Router Brand Guides
Brand-specific login details, factory reset instructions, and known firmware quirks across dozens of manufacturers in our Router Brand Hub →
Free Network Tools
High-performance utilities including our Subnet Calculator, IP Checker, Port Checker, Ping Test, ISP Lookup, Wi-Fi QR Generator, and User Agent Checker.
Troubleshooting & Help Articles
Practical, in-depth troubleshooting covering problems like “connected but no internet”, router boot loops, and random disconnects in our Troubleshooting, How-To, and Help Center.
Why We Built It
Router login information online is often wrong, outdated, or identical from page to page with only the IP address swapped out. We built RouterIPGuide to be the opposite: pages where the advice reflects how the hardware actually behaves — including the awkward cases, like extenders that stop responding at their setup address, or ISP gateways that conflict with a third-party router's network range.
How We Create and Check Our Content
Our editorial process is built around accuracy, real-world utility, and clear technical communication:
Every page is written independently
We don't generate pages by swapping a brand or IP name into one template. Each guide covers the specific behavior of that address, brand, or problem.
We research real problems
Guides are built from manufacturer documentation and from issues people actually report in networking communities and support forums, not from guesses about what might go wrong.
We show when content was last updated
Router firmware and ISP equipment change, so articles carry a “Last Updated” date and are revised as things change.
We flag uncertainty
Where values vary by model, ISP, or firmware — signal ranges, default passwords, reset timings — we say so instead of presenting one number as universal.
We fix mistakes
If you spot an error, tell us via our contact page and we'll review and correct it promptly.
Our Independence
RouterIPGuide is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any router manufacturer or internet service provider. Brand and product names are used only to identify the equipment our guides cover. See our Disclaimer for details.

A Note on Privacy
