Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the informational guides, diagnostic tools, and databases provided on RouterIPGuide, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue using the website immediately.

2. Informational & Educational Disclaimer

The content, default admin credentials, IP gateway login guides, and network recovery steps provided on this site are **for educational and informational purposes only**.

CRITICAL WARNING: Configuring router settings, executing hardware factory resets, altering DNS settings, or flashing custom firmware packages can result in network downtime, connection drops, security vulnerabilities, or hardware failures ("bricking"). You perform these actions entirely at your own risk. RouterIPGuide is not liable for any service loss or hardware issues.

3. Acceptable Use of Tools

Our web-based tools (including the IP checker, ping test, CIDR subnet calculator, and port availability checker) are provided free of charge for individual diagnostics. You agree to:

  • Use the tools only for debugging networks or hardware that you own or have explicit authorization to audit.
  • Not run automated scrapers, scripts, bots, or DDoS traffic patterns that could overwhelm our APIs or degrade tool speed for other visitors.
  • Not reverse-engineer, mirror, or repackage the tool structures for commercial resale.

4. Intellectual Property

All custom text guides, schematic visuals, visual simulators, and calculator layouts are the intellectual property of RouterIPGuide. You may reference our guides and link to our sitemaps for educational purposes, provided that clear, clickable attribution back to RouterIPGuide is maintained. Scraping or copying entire pages is strictly prohibited.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall RouterIPGuide, its team, or its hosting partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, data loss, business interruption, router bricking, or internet outages) arising out of the use or inability to use the guides or tools.

6. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the website following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those updates.
